The Union Company's steamer Hauroto is timed to sail for Dunedin and East' Coast porta at noon to-day. . ,'': The steamer Veraont. sailed yesterday afternoon for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. Tho Tyser steamer Niwaru sailed yesterday for Napier «nd Wellington. Tae five-masted schooner Inca left for Newcastle yesterday morning, being towed to sea by the tugboat Pelican. On arrival at Newcastle, the Inca will load coal for a South American port. The Whangapo is due at this port to-day from Westport. The steamer Nerehana arrived at Napier yesterday morning from Auckland. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Paparoa is expected to commence loading for London at this port about November 23, and from here she will proceed to Wellington and Waitant to complete. She will . then return to Wellington for final despatch on December 15. It is reported that the Pukaki, on arrival at Dunedin from West-port, via Timaru and Oamaru, will enter the West Coast time-table running in place of the Flora. Intimation has been received that the TUkanoa will relieve the Taviuni in the Southern ports-Wellington-West Coast running this trip. The latter vessel is to take a cargo of navy coal from Westport to liila, New Hebrides. Advice received from London states that the Star of India, the new steamer for the LondonNew Zealand trade, has made a successful steam trial. Advice has been received that the. ' Norddeut-scher-Lioyd steamer Bremen has arrived at Jb'remantle, and has the following passengers lor New Zealand :—Mesdames Barraud, Bullock, Tobias. McLennon, Misses Barraud, haim, Plummer, Black, Messrs. Barraud, Harrison, Bullock, Tobias, Green, Silieth, Essex, Ashtou. On December 5 the Northern Steamship Company's steamer Rarawa is due at Wellington, where she will be placed on the slip for overhaul. She is to leave again for New Plymouth on the following day, und from December 8 will make three trips per week between Onehunga and New Plymouth, instead of two as at present. What is said to be one of the heaviest consignments of mutton yet taken out of Sydney was shipped by the Tyser Line's Wakarua for DunkirK, London, and Liverpool recently. In her refrigerating chambers the vessel took 60,000 carcases of mutton and lamb. The barque Joseph Craig, which arrived from Geekmg on Thursday night, experienced tine weather, with moderate to light winds, until November 2, thence hard southerly gale, with very high sea, and then light westerly and south-westerly winds and smooth seas to arrival. The Joseph Craig berthed at the Railway Wharf to discharge, after which she proceeds to Kaipara to load timber for. Melbourne.

The Huddart-Parker steamer Wuiimera. which left Sydney at 1 p.in. on Wednesday last for Auckland direct, is due here to-morrow morning. The local branch of the New Zealand Shipping Company have received advice concerning the arrival of the Turakina at London. The vessel left Auckland on September 24, and arrived at her destimtion on Tuesday last. JESSIE CRAIG FROM NEWCASTLE. The barque Jessie Craig, Captain I'rquhart, arrived from Newcastle yesterday morning, after a passage of nine days*. The barque left the New South Wales coal port on November 2, passed the Three Kings at noon on November 8, and Cape Bret* at 2 p.m. on November 9. Experienced moderate northerly winds and fine weather to Cape Brett, th'enee strong southerly winds to arrival. After discharge the Jessie Craig proceeds to Hokianga to load timber for Melbourne.
