CLAIM FOR COMPENSATION.
[by TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Wan<?anui, Monday. The Arbitration Court to-day heard the case of Read v. Morrisj a claim for £195, and £20 expenses. It was alleged that Read, while in the employ of Morris, a butcher, at Marton, contracted anthrax. The Court was satisfied that Read was not suffering from anthrax at the time of his death, and gave judgment for the defendant, with costs.
