Before the close of the spell Coulter scored i for' Otago. Johnston converting, and Nolan scored ' an unconverted try for Auckland, the scores at 1 half-tuna being: Otago, 13; Auckland, 11. In. the eeeood »pell Auckland, playing with the i -wind, had things pretty well all their own, way. , v Otago scored one more try, Harridge getting over from a forward rush. McDermott converted. Five ' tries were scored {or Auckland, the scorers being ' Kean (3). Bennett, and Dunning. Cole converted " two tries. Rcnwiok (Ponsonby, Grafton, and ' New Zealand, 1908). Johnston also may return to Wigan this year.
