A WONDER AMONGST WOMEN.
MORE HITS THAN MISSES. A MABVELLOUS score was made by Mrs. Chapman, of Staines, at Bislev, England, on August 13. Firing amongst 200 competitors in the London and Middlesex competition at over 200 yds, 500vds, and 600 yds, she headed the list with 103 out of a possible 105, made in 24 rounds, including three sight-ers. Mrs. Chapman missed the bull's-eye three times only, and created a new world's record, having made three points more than any lady ever compiled before in open competition with a service rifle.
