THE DUNEDIN FIRE.
I . [by' TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] | Dunedin, Wednesday. The insurances on the building belonging to Mr. Donald Reid, sen., which was partially destroyed by fire last evening, was £5000 in the New Zealand office. The stock belonging to Chambers and Son was insured for £6000 in the Commercial Union and Australian Alliance. Other insurances are :Aslin. and , Bedford).£lss. in.the Standard (damage £40); George and" Doughty, "samples, £500 in the United. ; '. ' ." -' ; .- : ~ The damage is estimated at between £3000 and £4000. " , ~ •
