LANDS FOR SELECTION.
♦ ' — The Crown /lands that will be open for | selection in the Auckland land district this month include 104 sections of first and second class land in the Wharekawa; Thames, and Waihou survey -districts, available under the O.R.P. tenure; for which applications will be open until : May 13. On May 18 a sale will be held at the Miners' Hall, Thames, of 41 sections in the town, of Pipiroa, Hauraki Plains at upset prices ranging from £30 to £50; 27 sections, suburban, in the same township, of 'fromj one acre to five acres, at upset; prices';■ of from £30 to £150; also '. 74 ;,- rural; sections :in the Thames and J Waif hou ■:■' survey districts, -■■ averaging 'iml area from two to three acres, at upset prices ranging from £15 to £35. , On Monday, May -23, nine sections in the Mangamuka, Waoku, Tatamoe, and Opuawhanga survey districts, of from ;47 acres to 191 acres, ' will be ''open .for selection for cash, occupation with right of purchase,, or renewable lease. On Friday, May "i 27;' four ;; sections, of -80 ? acres each,: in the Omapere survey district, will sbe •let on ' lease at a rental of £12, for a term of seven > years.
