King Edward motored from Biarritz to Vera, Spain, yesterday, and visited the graves and personally selected a site for a monument for the Rifle Brigade officers killed in 1813, while holding a bridge against Marshal Soult. (Received April 18, 12.50 a.m.) Rome, April 17. Queen Alexandra and Princess Victoria were greeted by enthusiastic crowds on their arrival at Genoa. Thence they embarked in the Royal yacht Victoria and Albert for England.
