The Auckland plurnlwjrs held their annual united picnic at Motutapu on Saturday. Favoured by seasonable weather conditions about 600 attended. Trade sports wore held. The liig-of-war, masters v. journeymen, was keenly contested, and was eventually won by the journeymen .after three exciting pulls.
