ENGINE-DRIVERS' MEETING.
[BY TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION'.]
Christchurch, Monday. At the Christchurch meeting of the New Zealand Locomotive Engine Drivers', Firemen, and Cleaners' Association, an important letter, bearing on the recognition of the association, was read, the contents of which were received with entire satisfaction. It was also resolved to forward a letter of condolence to the general secretary of the Victorian Association, with a request that it be conveyed to the widows of the victims of.the recent Beaufort' railway accident.
