A serious accident befell Mr. C. A. Redgrave, an accountant, of Wellington, at the North cote Ferry Tee, at 10.30 yesterday morning. He was leaving a ferry boat when he slipped and -fell on to the lower deck, striking his head against a projection. He was picked up in an unconscious condition, and conveyed to . the hospital, where it was found that he was suffering from concussion. of the brain. ,An operation was performed last, night, and hopes are entertained for the patient's recovery.
