JOE'S LETTER.
Dear Sandy Claws,— I write because I have to tell you what to bring. I want a top, also a lot Of candy. Sister wants a wring— She's got-a beau—but then I know lies ucor as ennything. I want a set of soldier clothes, A 'base ball and a kite. An if you think I'm not too small . I'tl.liko to have a bike. - My mother wants a knew fur coat. Its 110 use askin Dad. And so" I tell you cause I know To give it youd be glad. I'leese fill my stockin bnstin full Of ennything youve got. Just nuts ana jumpin jacks an things An say; nleese bring a lot. Of new gimcrackers for the tree An something,for. the cook.. Wo have the same one as last year I guess she'd like a book. • I hope youll have a very Merry Xmas time yourself. I've got a present for you, youll find it on the shelf. • I hope youll like it Sandy Claws But then of course I know " Youll'like to have the pickslier , Your little trew frend JOE. M. G. HAYES.
