JUVENILE SHOTS.
AN ONEHUNGA CHAMPION. [BY TELEGRAPH.PBJSS ASSOCIATION.] Wanoaottx, Monday. A TOTAL of 210 cadets and 26 teams, representing 26 schools throughout the Dominion, fired for the champion cadet belt, champion team shield, and medals presented by the anganui National Defence League for annual competition. Cadet Morgan (Onehunga) made the possible (50), and firing two extra : shots,, (each bull's-eyes) made 12 consecutive bulls. He becomes champion cadet shot for New Zealand. Spurdle (Wanganui), Wooding (Geraldine), Macdonald (Ashburton), Sontag (Dunedin), Fountain (Port Chalmers), and Balk (Woodville* made 47. Woodville (354) was first for the teams' shield, Geraldine (546) second, and Onehunga (340) third. The belt winner is a member of the same company as Sergeant Friar, who last year shot so brilliantly at Home for Lord Roberts' trophy. ' . .
