WITHIN SIGHT OF WAR.
Much excitement (says a London paper of October 28) has been caused in Vienna by the remarkable comments of the chief clerical organ in the Austrian capital on tho Racconigi interview. "When," declares the Vaterland, "the Tsar and tho King of Italy proclaim before the entire world their oneness in Balkan interests, it is in reality a war-cry against Austria." The article winds up with the astonishing assertion: "We are within measurable distance of war."
