SUPREME COURT LIST.
REDUCING THE CASES. It was announced in the Supreme Court yesterday that a . settlement had been arrived at in the case Fred. Sheppard. Thomas (Dr. Bamfonft v. Ernest Gerard, official assignee in the estate of Wm. Geo. Watson (the Hon. J. A. Tole), application for injunction and £10 damages. The case, Annie Mary Watts (Mr. Schnauer) v. John Trimble (Mr. Stanton), claim for £250 for alleged slandeV, has lapsed owing to the death of defendant. The claim of the Ferguson Mining and Smelting Company, Limited (Mr. Walker), v. Tnos. Geo. de Renzy (Mr. Skelton), claim for £1000, for money lent, will probably not come on till next sessions. There is a probability of a settlement being arrived at in the following cases:— J. Hale and John M. Hale (Mr. Skelton) v. John McLeod (Mr. Parr), action for injunction; same v. Frank A. Cooper (Mr. Devore), action for injunction; Thos. Clutten Bragge (Mr. Earl) v. Alcock and Co.
