IMMORAL BOOKS.
BARRED FROM LIBRARIES. By Telegraph.— Association.— Copyright.
London, December 2. The Circulating Libraries' Association has determined not to circulate scandalous, libellous, or immoral books, or those likely to prove offensive to any considerable section of subscribers.
This action is a result of customers' complaints of the recent increase in the output of " doubtful" books. • -*"■"
The Times' Book Club, Smith's, and Mudie's lead the movement.
