The Manukau Licensing Committee met yesterday ;at the Onehunga courthouse, when there - were present: Messrs. H. W. Northcroft, S.M. (chairman), G. H. Fleming, D. Hattaway, W. Westney, and J. Flanagan. Application was made by P. Farquhar for a conditional license for the: saleyards; at Otahuhu. The applicant failed to put in an appearance, and the matter lapsed. Mr. Northcroft will preside over the cwucWly meeting next Monday.
