A CHINESE SETTLEMENT.
In the eye of the Chinaman Otaki is apparently a spot which looms large just now. It is.estimated that the number of Chinese now in the Otaki district is nearly 150, while by Christmas it is expected that some 200 Chinese will be occupied in various market gardens.
