OTAHUHU STATION.

[BY TELEGRAPH.SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT.] Wellington, Sunday. The question of securing an up-to-date railway station at Otahuhu to replace the building recently destroyed by fire has not been lost sight of by Mr. F. W. Lang, M.P. Just prior to the fire he was asking for an improvement to the station and immediately after its destruction he waited upon the Minister for Railways, who promised that a substantial up-to-date building, sufficient for the requirements of this growing district, will be provided. .
