Good entries have been received for the Carlton Club matches. The lists will close this evening. The inauguration of Wednesday matches at Grey Lynn green was entirely satisfactory, and it is not too much to expect that the movement will progress as rapidly as Saturday play has done. The entries for the Saturday competitions of tho Grey Lynn Club are very big this season. Fourteen rinks have entered for the club fours: 30 rinks for the club pairs; 38 for the handicap singles; and 30 for the champion singles. # . Already fair entries have been received for the Wednesday competitions of the Grey Lynn Club, which comprise club fours, pairs, handicap singles, and first-year players sinales. Entries for these ev*nis finally close neat Wednesday.
