THROWN FROM A HORSE.
[by TELEGRAPH. * CORRESPONDENT . , . .Whangarei, Monday. A serious accident occurred on' Saturday night. A man named Ernest Armstrong, the youngest son of Mr. M. W.Armstrong, of Maunu, was riding home from Whangarei in company with ' several others, and was thrown from his horse, and sustained a fracture of the base of the skull. He was removed to the hospital, and "is now Jying in a critical condition.
