The dairy cows sold at from £6 5s to £14 (averaging £10 0s 3d each); bulls, £4 10s to £6 ss; yearling and 2-vear heifers, £3 5s to £5 ss; farm mare, £27 10s; unbroken 2-year-olds, £11 15s; pigs, sows £4 -5s to £6 10s, porkers 23s 6d, weaners 8s to 12s 6d; fowls, 2s 6d to 3s. Implements and sundries realised full values. * , ,\ AtEemuera on Thursday stock of all classes were well represented. Dairy cows ranged in price from £3 10s to £9 12s 6d; dry, £2 10s to £4 10s; 2i-year steers, £4, 10s to " £4 17s 6d; yearlings, to £2 10s. Young and fat calves, in average numbers, met with a ready sale, bringing from 2s to 52s (93 sold). There" was an average yarding of fat cattle of nice quality. Prices were well up to last week's quotations. Steers ranged in price from £5 10s to £10 7s 6d; cows, £4 10s to £7 2s 6d (333 sold). Both mutton and lamb were well represented, . and met with a ready sale right, through, wethers in their wool bringing from 16s 3d to £1 3s 3d; shorn, 12s to las 6d; ewes, 10s 6d to 14s 3d (1720 sold). Three hundred and ninety- lambs ' were penned, the quality being good. Bidding was steady right through. Prices were from 10s 6d to 18s. Pigs came forward in large numbers. Porkers and baconerc were easier, but small and choppers maintained their values—small 10s to 15s; slips, to 18s; Porkers, to 30s; baconers, to 50s; choppers, to 107s (173 sold). Poultry, Is .2d to 2s 3d.
