BOY SCOUT MOVEMENTS.
The commander of the boy scouts for the Auckland district has issued the following orders:—(l) The whole of the scouts in Auckland city and suburbs will parade on Saturday next, November 6. The \Devonport, Northcote, Birkenhead, and Takapuna troops will parade at the corner of Beach Road and Stanjey-street at 2.30 p.m. The remaining troops will parade at the Transit of Venus obelisk in the Outer Domain at 2.30 p.m. Special orders will be issued to the commanders later. Lack of uniform is no bar, only 6taff required to appear in uniform. (2) All scoutmasters are requested to forward to the secretary as soon as possible ful.l particulars about their troops and patrols. (3) Arrangements are being made for instructors in knotting and splicing, ambulance, and signalling. Scoutmasters who wish to have their troops instructed in these branches will notify the secretary. (4) All communications to the executive wi,U be addressed to the hon. secretary, Mr. G. B. Devereuxj Market Road, Epsom. -,'..' ' '..■. , ■
