FIRE AT WANGANUI.
[BY TELEGRAPH. PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wangantji, Wednesday. At an early hour this morning fir© broke out. in a boarding-house in Wickstead Place, an old structure of 15 to 20 rooms. The fire was confined to the end of the building. Ten boarders escaped with meagre clothing. One elderly man jumped out of an upstairs window, sustaining several cuts and bruises.' The house was owned by J. D. Mcßeth, and was occupied by Mrs. Smith. The building is insured for £175 and the furniture for £300* the latter in the Queensland Comply; . "-'...■■■■■:'.'■,'.■
