Three lifebelts . were picked, up on the Pallisel Bay beach (says a Featherston correspondent) by Mr. Gold, of the Ferry Hotel, on Thursday. The belts bear a blue design, and were in good condition when found. One had the lashings fastened, as though it had been worn, and one had the shoulder-straps broken. V ""The D.S.C. closed their warehouse at five o'clock last , evening, in order to bring forward and mark off goods that have come to hand by s.s. Opawa. All will be greatly reduced, to clear quickly. Tho most eminent physician cannot prescribe a better preparation than Chamberlain's Colic, Cholera, and Diarrhoea Remedy.
