China ought to be one of the very greatest Powers in the world considering the magnitude of its population, the fine qualities of its people, and the richness of its natural resources. Yet the disorganisation of its Government, and especially the corruption of its central Government, have always made it a prey to any small force that chose to Blunder.— Statist.
