THE NEW TIME-TABLE.
SECOND EXPRESS TO RUN.
.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.]
Wellington, Sunday. A feature of the new railway time-table to be issued shortly is the announcement of ' running times of a second Main Trunk express. This will leave Wellington at night, and pass in daylight through the heart of the King Country. The return train will leave Auckland in the forenoon. '
Should the new train prove a success during the summer time, and if it appears that continuance is warranted, it will bo made a permanency. The arrival at Frankton of the train from Wellington will approximate the time of the Rotorua express from Auckland, and Southern passengers will thus be able to continue »heir journey to the Hot Lakes, or the Thames district without delay. It is hoped , that the new morning express from Auckland will also meet at Frankton' the express from Rotorua, and thus take passengers right through to the South.
