MASONIC! INSTALLATION.

Rotorua, Thursday. Tub installation of Worshipful Master Bro. T. H. Kirkby, of the Rotorua Lodge, and the investiture of officers took place last night. Bro. 0. Nicholson was installing officer, and a large number of visiting brethren were also present. The retiring master, Bro. W. Hill, was presented with a handsome jewel, in appreciation of his two years' service as master of the lodge. The success of the lodge is greatly due to the untiring energy-of Bro. Hill. Bro. Nicholson made the presentation. . After the installation ceremony, the brethren adjourned to the Parish Hall, where a banquet took place. The usual Masonic toasts were given and responded to. In.consequence of the late arrival of the express, the installation banquet was not concluded until 1.30 this morning. Bro. Nicholson and other Grand Lodge officers left for Tauranga this morning.
