' Mr. Kirk, Government biologist, who is in Tasmania investigating the potato blight, cabled to the Minister for Agriculture that the outbreak there is not so serious as was anticipated, and that there is much sound stock there. The Minister states that no Tasmanian, . potatoes have reached here since the end of June.
