Public Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Auckland City Council on the 29th day of July, 1909. the following Resolution, intended to operate as a Special Order, was duly passed, via.:— " That New Swift Avenue, in the City of Auckland, being parts of Lots 61 and 70 of the Subdivision into Lots of Allotment 12 of Section 8 of the Suburbs of Auckland, be stopped, and that the Auckland City Council do stop the said Street and that the same is hereby stopped under the powers vested in the said Council by ' The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,' and all other powers it hereunto enabling." NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of 'he Devonport Borough Council, held on the 10th clay of August, 1909, it was resolved, by way of Special Order— 1. THAT the surplus from the Waterworks, etc., Loan of £7000, raised on the 19th day of December, 1906 amounting to £512 8a lOd, more or less, be transferred to the District Fund Account and be used as follows:— (a) To build a ' retaining pitched wall around part of the Old Admiralty Reserve. (b) To cut down Spraggon's Corner and improve the Old Admiralty Reserve. 2. THAT this Resolution be confirmed at an Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held at the Council Chambers, Marine Square, Devonport, on TUESDAY, the 21st day or September, 1909, at 7.30 p.m. A copy of the proposed Special Order is deposited at the Office of the Council, Marine Square, where the said Special Order will be open for public inspection during Office hours until the said confirming meeting is held.
