Reutek's Ottawa correspondent says confirmation is lacking to the report that Canada has withdrawn from the proposed Imperial Conference respecting a cheaper cable service between the various parts of the Empire. Canada's desire for delay is, says the correspondent, due to the difficulty of arriving at an agreement with the land companies. A commission is about to investigate the tolls charged by the companies.
