MORE PROTECTION WANTED.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —rBESS ASSOCIATION.]
Dunedik, Friday. A DEPUTATION of boilermakere waited on Mr. Millar to-night to invoke his assistance in preventing the importation of articles which could be made in the Dominion. They also pointed out that several .steamers built outside the Dominion could be built here.
The Minister sympathised with the deputation, but was unwilling to undertake another tariff revision, one being enough for any man for a lifetime.
