A meeting of the Waihi branch of,the National Defence League was ' held on Tuesday, to confer with Sergeant-Major McDonnell, drill instructor, on the question of forming a Defence League cadet corps in Waihi. The sergeant-major having detailed .the steps necessary to establish • a corps,'it .was decided that the Mayor convene a meeting at an" early date for the purpose of taking the names of boys prepared to enrol. f s . Baxter's Lunji Preserver, will. cure 'an ordinary cold before it reaches the chest. Colds that commenoe in the chest are quickly cured by this famous remedy.
