MORE PRESENTATIONS.

Gisborne, Wednesday. This afternoon, at the Farmers' Union Club rooms, the Acting-Prime Minister (the Hon. J. Carroll) was mad© the recipient of handsome presentations from the Liberal Association (a piece of plate), the Nautilus survivors, of which the Minister is a member (a silver! inkstand), the Progressive League (a tre veiling case), and the local representatives from the land of the Harp and the Shamrock (a gold pendant in the form of a harp). This evening the Hon. J. Carroll will bo entertained by the members of the Te v ßau Bowling Club, at Erskine's Hall, when he will be presented with a pair of silver-mounted bowls.
