ENTERTAINMENTS.
HIS MAJESTY'S. ' The second performance of Shakespere'g J comedy, "As You Like It," took place at His Majesty's Theatre last evening, before l a" large audience, which came away do. lighted with the acting, and tho general "V sconio and other effects. Miss Nellie Stewart as Rosalind again received very hearty appreciation from the> audience, her ■■ interpretation of the character being very popular. Mr. Langhorne Burton as Orlando was seen to advantage, his portrayal of the part baing neat and attractive; Mr. F. Moves made a capital banished duke, and was able to keep tho interest of the audience throughout, and Mr. Claude King as the misanthropic Jaques appeared to much advantage in. his recital of "The ". Seven Ages of Man" and others. Mr. A, B. Tapping as old Adam, and Mr. Harry Ashford as Touchstone, were both successes in their respective parts, and the rest of the cast was powerful enough to make.a strong combination. "A A matinee performance of "As You Like ' It" will be given this afternoon, commencing at two o'clock, and the company will close their present season to-night, and leave for the South by Sunday night's ex. press. ... - ■
