A SHORT LIST.
The charge sheet at the Police Court on Saturday was a -short-" one. ' Mr. E. 0. Cut ten, S.M., occupied the Bench. Clias. Rattray, alias Morrison, and Wm. Scott were. each fined 10s for drunkenness.
Louis Fredericksen was sentenced to three days' hard 'labour for committing an indecent act in Queen-street, and was convicted and discharged for drunkenness. Will, Jones, who pleaded guilty to using obscene language on the OhaeawaiOkaihau Road, and who, failing to appear at the Kaikohe Court, was arrested in Auckland, was ordered to pay £2 and costs. "• Chas. Carpenter was fined £2 for drunkenness and procuring liquor while prohibited, and Carl John Patterson £1, or. 48 hours' imprisonment. Ivy Emma Helliam, charged with being "i rogue and vagabond, behaved in a somewhat peculiar manner in Court. She was remanded for a week's treatment and observation.
