A BANKRUPT FARMER.
A meeting was to have been held in .the afternoon in the estate of Frederick Charles Hill, a farmer, of Tahuna, but only one creditor put in an appearance. The assignee stated that the bankrupt's liabilities, upon investigation, were found to amount to £49 1 4s 2d, and his assets to £29 10s, leaving a deficiency of £467 14s 2d. The bankrupt was examined upon his statement, already published, after which the meeting was adjourned sine die, the assignee telling the bankrupt to apply for his discharge within four months.
