By Telegraph.—Presn —Copyright. London, .June 10. Four cargoes of Australian wheat sold at 43s lOid. 445. 44s lid, and 44s 3d respectively. Silver is quoted at 2s 0 3-16 d per ounce.
Messrs. Palgety and Co., Limited, Auckland, have received the following cablegram from their London office under .Kite the 10th inst. :—Frozen meat : New Zealand prime ox beef, forequarters 3d, hindquarters 4d. The demand hag been checked' by the increased prices asked. We do not expect a continuation of present prices. For frozen mutton there is a better demand, but prices are unchanged, except for New Zealand prime crossbred Canterbury lisrht, vrhich is g d per lb higher owing to scarcity. For frozen lamb there is also a belter demand, but price; are unchanged. Tallow: Any change in price is in favour of buyers. Buyers ar» offering 29s 3d for good colour beef. Buyers show little or no disposition to operate for" forward delivery.
