A special meeting of the Mount Eden Borough Council was held last night, those present being: Messrs. 0. J. Tunks, E. H. Potter, J. P. Hooton, 0. Hudson, R. R. Ross, J. Davis, W. Woolley, and; E. Warnock. In the absence of the Mayor (Mr. 0. Nicholson) at the meeting of the Drainage Board, Mr. Tunks presided. ; The district electors' roll for the forthcoming , election was presented and approved, and an order was made for it to be printed, 1 in accordance with the regulations. The resolution passed at the meeting of ; the Council on February 22 for the raising of a loan of £1300 to complete the reconstruction of Mount Eden and Dominion Roads < was" confirmed.: ; Baxter's lung preserver acts on coughs and colds like a charm, giving strength and a soothing influence to the respiratory organs. ,'-.''
