The February Triad contains an interesting criticism of the Christchurch competitions in singing unci elocution, at which the editor acted as judge. Mr. Edward Reeves is criticised at some length, and those who hoard the popular reeitalist will probably be surprised at the tale of his technical defects, according to the Triad. There are also an amusing critique of the " Scarlet Troubadours," an imaginary interview with the editor by Frank Morton, sundry articles, musical and literary, constructive and destructive. A photographic competition is also announced, and the Triad, as usual, " gives furiously to think."
