ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL SALE. TUB New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.. Ltd., and Messrs. Dalgety and Co.. Ltd., held their first sheep fair of the season at Otahnhn yesterday, when' upwards of 15.000 sheep and rams were yardea There was a large attendance of buyers, and bidding was brisk, the sale proving most successful. .Sheep of all elastics showed more quality than the previous season. Young: ewes sold at from lis 6d to 17s 3d; aged ewes, 5s 6d to lis: 4 and 6-tooth ewes, 12s 6d to 17s 3d: wethers, 10s to 15s 3d; lambs, 4s 6d to 10s 9d. For rams, Lincolns made from ligs to Dig's; Bomueys, 2jgs to sgs; English Leicesters, lg to oiigs; Border Leicesters, ligs to3ga; Saropshires, lg to 3gs.
