THE MINING TROUBLE.
ACTION AT REEFTON. [BY TELEGRAM.PRESS ASSOCIATION'.] Reefton, Sunday. At a well-attended mooting of the Inangahua Miners' Union last evening it was decided to institute proceedings by the federation against mineowners for a lockout, as alleged at Christmas, on account of the posting of placards and notices regarding the medical examination. It is believed that the mining companies are instituting proceedings against the enginedrivers and others.
