MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS.

SUCCESSFUL STUDENTS.

The following interim report 011 the medical examinations of the University of New Zealand was submitted to the University Senate yesterday by the Medical Committee. The'following have passed nil the intermediate examination for the degree of Bachelor of Dental SurgeryLauee James Potter, William Stanley Seed.

Dr. McDowell, chairman of the committee who brought up the. report, stated that ■in about half a dozen cases the necessary certificates had not been supplied by candidates. The Registrar (Mr. .1. W. Joynt) stated that the responsibility of seeing that the requirement as to providing certificates were fulfilled had been taken oft his hands by the Medical Committee. li. was stated that in the case of some examinations at least the failure to supply certiiicates was not the fault of the candidates, but of the professors. It was resolved to adopt the report, and that the candidates be passed, subject to the production of the necessary certificates.
