INDIAN HONOURS.

A large number of Indian honours have been gazetted in connection with the commemoration 'o! the; fiftieth anniversary of the Crown's assumption of the Government of India. On August 2, 1858, the Royal assent was given to the Government of India Act, by which all the territories previously under the government of the East India Company were vested in the Sovereign.
