MILITARY INQUIRY.

Oamahu, Monday. The Military Court of inquiry concluded its sitting. The proceedings were l.ot open to the press., but it is -understood that Staff Sergeant- Kibble white succeeded in clearing himself of the charge of neglect of duty and making a false statement to the officer commanding tho district. The other two charges were against Quartermaster Mahan and Captain Jesecp, that against the former being in connection with the wrongful signing of a document. Captain Jeesep wa6 called upon to establish the bona-fides of certain paid daylight parades, and to answer a charge connected with the drawing of personal payment for men of the Oamaru Rifles £aid to be present at the recent Easter manoeuvres, when lets than half the strength of the company wae .present. The Court, did not indicate what the iecommendations in respect to the charges would be.
