ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.

[BY TELEGRAPH. PRESS ASSOCIATION.} Christchurch, Saturday. At the Magistrate's Court to-day, Wm. Baker admitted a charge of attempting to commit suicide by taking a dose of poison. The magistrate remanded him for a fortnight, and ordered that in the meantime he should be kept under observation at the Sunnyside Mental Hospital.
