THE SQUADRON.

FOUR WARSHIPS IN PORT. H.M. warships Challenger and Cambrian, J| belonging to the Australasian squadron, i reached port on Saturday morning and took ' tip anchorages in the man-o'-war ground. Both vessels arrived in the Hauraki Gulf two or three days ago, the former from w; Port Chalmers and the latter from Sydney. ; ; ' : ;- During their stay in the gulf both warships ' , were engaged in some useful heavy gun practice. . The flagship (H.M.S. Powerful) will take in bunker coal from the Union Company's steamer Koromiko to-day.
