In pursuance of the powers -nested in them by " The Counties Act, 1886." and " The Public Works Act, 1905." and all the Amendments thereof, and of all other powers, if any. the chairman, councillors, and inhabitants of the County of Otamatca do hereby, by Special Order, make the following amendment in the County By-laws: — By-law No. 1. regulating traffic on main and County Roads, and Section 3. the words, " exclusive of the load thereon," be substituted for the words " inclusive of the load thereon." and this By-law shall be amended accordingly. Also, the additional Sections be added s«— No. 10.—No person shall take, lead, or drive any horse, engine, agricultural, or other machine, or any vehicle over any bridge of a greater span than ten feet under the control of the Council at other than a walking pace. ■ No. 13.—N0 person shall, whilst driving a vehicle over any road under the control of the Council, fasten or lock, or permit to be fastened or locked, any wheel of such vehicle, so that such fastening or locking may act or serve the purpose of a brake.
