Mrs. Clark is making excellent progress toward recovery/ < Miss Vera French (Auckland), the talented young violinist, has been fulfilling concert engagements in various parts of Kng- ' ' land and Wales during the last few months, 1 Last week she was with Melba at Sunderland, where she met with an excellent reception. McMillan, with their son, Mr. Gibson McMillan, and his wife will spend about a month at Bournemouth beforo leaving to spend the winter in - Burma (chiefly at Rangoon and Bhamo)* On their return to England they will separate at Colombo, Mr. and Mrs. Gibson McMillan sailing thence to New Zealand, where they are due about the end of March!'
