DEATH ON THE ROAD.
[BY telegraph.—press association.] Whangarei, Saturday. , Details to hand concerning the death of Mr. John Scott, at Opokeno, on Wednesday correct a previous report, which stated that he had fallen from a tree. Mr. Scott, who was formerly a tradesman in Queenstreet, Auckland, was engaged to act as storekeeper for Mr. Dysart. When walking along the road he suddenly collapsed, and was found in a dying condition. A verdict of death from heart failure was returned at the inquest yesterday. .'
