LICENSING BILL.
MONSTER PETITIONS. By Telegraph.— Association.— London, November 10. In the House of Commons the Licensing Bill has passed through Committee, after a discussion extending over three weeks, and has been reported to the House, three days being allotted for the third reading debate. Petitions bearing 1,585,900 signatures were presented against the Bill, while those in favour of the new law had 1,209,098 signatures attached.
